My brothers and I played together for many years under my dad's group name Santos Rincones Y Los Latinos in the Michigan-Ohio-Indiana area throughout the 70s-80s-90s. We also played "Golpe Traidor" at some point. I've listen to Dwayne Verheyden who brought Tejano music to the Dutch but Steve Jordan also brought it to Japan back in the 80s, hence came Los Gatos De Japon. I found Alex Meixner on accident and wondered...does he play music Tejana or Mexican polkas? Here it is, great stuff gentlemen. Latinos love to see people appreciating our music which actually is a derivitive of Germans playing polkas in Mexico in the 19th century. You can find my family's recordings that someone put into a Mexican geritage museum in California here on UA-cam under Carlos Y Santos Rincones.
